Joshua Roberts
NSW Mid North Coast & New England
Since joining ResortBrokers in 2022, Joshua has established himself as a highly regarded motel and caravan park specialist in his NSW Mid North Coast zone, having agreed deals of accommodation assets with a combined worth of more than $33 million.
In FY24 alone, Joshua settled eight deals with a total worth of over $15 million, an achievement that earned him ResortBrokers’ Rookie of the Year Award.
His notable sales include The Nambucca Motel, East Port Motor Inn (Port Macquarie), Alluna Motel (Armidale), Kootingal Kourt Caravan Park and the 107-site Twin Dolphins Holiday Park in Forster–Tuncurry, which he sold in 2024 for $8.7 million.
Joshua has also conjuncted with other brokers outside his zone, selling the freehold passive of Granite Belt Motel in Stanthorpe to an investor in his buyer network.
As ResortBrokers’ agent for the Mid North Coast, Joshua covers Port Macquarie, where he is based, Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour, Taree, Forster, Tamworth, Armidale, Kempsey and everywhere in between.
Joshua joined ResortBrokers with more than a decade of sales experience under his belt. After joining Wilkinson’s Real estate at 15 he went on to earn his real estate certificate from REINSW and became a part-time sales assistant with Wilkinsons in Riverstone. While still at school, he was holding open homes and showing properties in the afternoons and on weekends.
After working for Wilkinsons for six years, Joshua made a foray into banking before starting in car sales in 2017. He started as a Mitsubishi salesperson trainee for Nepean Motor Group, a well-known Penrith dealership, and soon graduated to assistant manager. At 23, he was promoted to the position of Volkswagen commercial manager, managing a team of seven salespeople. In 2019, his success in the position was rewarded when he was made Employee of the Year out of a staff of 150.
He spent three years with Nepean before landing a position as a new car sales consultant with John Oxley Motors in Port Macquarie before moving into an account manager role with Southern Cross Austereo where he has been based since. The move from Sydney to Port Macquarie was prompted by family ties. Joshua’s wife, who he met in Sydney, was born and raised in Port.
