Bathurst Goldfields at Mount Panorama for sale – ResortBrokers
ResortBrokers has listed the freehold going concern of Bathurst Goldfields at the home of Australian motor racing, Mount Panorama.
Offered to market for $10.95 million, the 11-hectare property can accommodate up to 300 guests across 20 motel rooms, a luxury residence, three self-contained cabins and five dormitory lodges.
Accommodations are based around a replica 1850s Goldfields village that pays homage to the region’s heritage.
Established for over a decade, Bathurst Goldfields is a major education centre as a New South Wales Government Human Studies and its Environment (HSIE) location, attracting 22,000 students every year.
A dining hall seating 200 supported by a fully licensed bar, a 600 sqm function centre and 195 sqm auditorium complete the venue’s range of offerings. The function centre can accommodate 700 guests and is the largest facility of its kind in the Central West.
“There is no more diversified business in the region,” says ResortBrokers Central West agent Chris Kelly who is marketing the property with Managing Director Trudy Crooks.
“School excursions, individual and group accommodation, major sporting events, and conferences, weddings and functions provide a broad business base with multiple income streams for Bathurst Goldfields. The property’s accommodations are incredibly flexible, about to cater for many different groups of all shapes and sizes.”
“Bathurst is the gateway to the Central West, which receives 7.8 million visitors a year. Many come for Mount Panorama’s motor racing events, but there’s a steady stream of holidaymakers throughout the year who come for Bathurst’s country charm and history. Bathurst Goldfields is a major beneficiary of that.” END
