Lakes Resort Toukley for sale by ResortBrokers for $18.9M
The freehold going concern of premier lakeside property Lakes Resort Toukley on NSW’s Central Coast is for sale for $18.9M through Jacqueline Featherby and Tim Mayoh of ResortBrokers.
Built in 2020, Lakes Resort Toukley is perched on a narrow strip of land between Tuggerah Lake on one side and Budgewoi Lake on the other. The resort comprises 35 hotel apartments ranging from studios to two-, three- and four-bedroom units, plus a manager’s studio. The resort occupies a 2,037 sqm lot with an expansive lawn, boat ramp, 20-metre heated lap pool, steam room, sauna, spa, breakfast room, games area, BBQ area and 28 parking spaces.
Less than an hour’s drive from Sydney’s Upper North Shore, Toukley’s appeal as a holiday destination was recognised with a 2021 NSW Top Tourism Town Award finalist nomination. The growing popularity of this town of approximately 4,500 permanent residents is a result of the Central Coast boom in the last few years. Recent approval for a fast rail connecting the Central Coast to Sydney will result in a 25-minute journey to the Central Coast, which is expected to further drive visitation and growth in the region.
“Hotel freeholds on the Central Coast are tightly held, making this a rare opportunity to buy into this booming market,” says ResortBrokers’ Jacqueline Featherby. “Toukley is a gorgeous spot and Lakes Resort is perfectly positioned to immediately take advantage of the town’s growing appeal as an upscale getaway destination from Sydney.”
