ResortBrokers launches second annual Motel Report

ResortBrokers unveiled its latest annual snapshot of the national motel industry through a roadshow that commenced in Brisbane on June 3, followed by events in Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney and Newcastle, before concluding in Townsville on June 11.

Attendance reached capacity at every event, with guests hearing presentations from report authors Managing Director Trudy Crooks and Property Economist Josh Mangleson, alongside case studies from local ResortBrokers agents.

Motel Report is the only study of its kind, providing a comprehensive, data-driven analysis of Australia’s $16.4 billion motel sector. As with last year’s edition, Motel Report 2026 received prominent coverage in the Australian Financial Review and leading industry media.
