ResortBrokers wins major award for third year running
ResortBrokers has added another major industry award to its cabinet when it was named as Broker of the Year for 2021 at the recent Onsite Manager’s Industry Excellence Awards.
Around 200 people attended the gala event at The Warehouse in Brisbane and the Broker of the Year award was one of six categories that were announced on the night.
All finalists were determined by nominations throughout the year from more than 620 onsite building managers and nominees with TheOnsiteManager.com.au, with each manager getting one nomination per category.
The service provider with the highest number of nominations was crowned the winner.
For the third year in a row, ResortBrokers won Broker of the Year and, in doing so, beat more nine other finalists to take the award.
“We’ve always aimed to provide the very best in service while showing integrity and respect to everyone with a bit of good old fashioned hard work, so to win this award again is very humbling,” said ResortBrokers Director and National Senior Broker Alex Cook.
“It’s an endorsement from the operators in the industry and one thing we’ve learned is that people in this business are resilient and resourceful,” Mr Cook said.
“We’re still dealing with the pandemic and yet everyone was still able to get together under the one roof and celebrate.
“I think the general feeling is that there is light at the end of the tunnel and we all have good reasons to be positive and it was great just to meet some of the best onsite managers in the business.”
Other notable winners included Phipps Finance in the Finance category, Hynes Legal in the Legal category, Holmans for Accounting, A1 Relief Managers for Relief Managers and Sharon Hildrew won Manager of the Year.
