Leah Bursztynowicz
Far North Queensland
Since joining ResortBrokers in 2024 Leah has firmly established herself as a leading accommodation broker across Far North Queensland — a region she and her family have proudly called home for the last 20 years.
In her first year, Leah set a new standard for ResortBrokers in Far North Queensland, bringing several multi-million-dollar assets to market and successfully settling major transactions, including:
- the 46-room Castaways Resort & Spa in Mission Beach to global timeshare operator Travel + Leisure;
- the $10.5 million sale of the 81-key Cairns Queens Court Motel to Sydney-based Quay Wholesale Fund Services; and
- the MiHaven Living portfolio — 131 rooms across 3 properties in central Cairns to Redhill Hospitality Group.
Leah's sales record also includes high-profile management rights sales throughout North Queensland.
Leah brings a strong foundation in sales, marketing and commercial strategy, built primarily through extensive experience in North Queensland’s tourism and hospitality sectors. She spent many years in senior sales and marketing roles, including leading national sales for a major adventure tourism operator and managing sales, marketing and events for a prominent Cairns entertainment venue.
Complementing her tourism background, Leah later broadened her commercial expertise through senior roles in finance and business management, gaining valuable exposure to complex transactions, compliance and structured deal processes — experience she now leverages to guide accommodation sales with clarity, confidence and a strong understanding of both operational and financial drivers.
“My sales approach is always client-focused,” says Leah. “By prioritising my clients’ objectives and maintaining clear, consistent communication, I aim to create a smooth, transparent process and build long-term relationships based on trust.”
Leah’s deep local knowledge and tourism background give her a unique advantage in the accommodation sector, where properties are not just real estate assets but operating businesses, lifestyle investments and long-term income generators.
After nearly two decades in Cairns, Leah considers herself a true local.
“I first came to the region in my early twenties” she says. “Like so many people, I fell in love with the lifestyle, the people and the natural beauty of the region — from the reef to the rainforest and beyond.”
Leah continues to build a reputation as one of North Queensland’s most effective and trusted accommodation specialists — with a clear focus on results, relationships and delivering value at every stage of the transaction.
