Since joining ResortBrokers in 2019, Jason Vogler has become one of the most successful regional specialists in the business, with 51 sales of assets worth more than $83 million.
Jason’s notable sales in FY23 include the passive freeholds of the 52-key 4.5-star Platinum International Toowoomba, which sold for a 6.7% return on investment, and the historic Hotel Corones in Charleville, which sold and settled inside four days. Jason’s other noteworthy recent sales include the freehold going concerns of Goondiwindi Motel and Inverell Caravan Park.
Jason covers one of the biggest zones in Australia, covering southwest Queensland and northern NSW. In his time with ResortBrokers, Jason has established himself as one of the most trusted professionals with hotel and caravan park operators in both states.
As a broker, Jason brings the experience of having worked in hospitality from a young age. He knows the business from the inside out, and from various stakeholder perspectives.
Aged 12, Jason earned his stripes working for his parents in their first cafe-restaurant in Inglewood on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
He has spent more than 13 years as a motelier, having owned and operated three very successful motels, including leasehold businesses, freeholds and freehold passive investments. He was also head chef in the 50-seat licensed restaurant attached to his leasehold motel. He undertook extensive renovations, resulting in major revenue growth.
In his private time, Jason is strongly involved in karate and mixed martial arts, pursuits he says support and develop his strengths: discipline, respect and control.
